Little changes make

a big difference.

Due to the pandemic of Coronavirus (Covid-19) the charity has temporarily, suspended the usual way of working. We are unable to travel and deliver to many of our partner organisations (some of which have closed). As well as this, donations are currently low as people experience even more hardship than usual.

We are however still donating toiletries from stock to some local organisations and schools in Livingston and have also given to some foodbanks in Edinburgh.

We aim to return to business as usual once it is safe to do so. Meanwhile if you do have any donations or wish to support us you can find us on Facebook as well as the website

A little about us

We are a charity that provides freely donated toiletries to people in need. Dignity Boxes are small boxes that are filled with a selection of basic toiletries, before being openly placed in areas, that are experiencing deprivation or a high level of poverty.

The aim of the boxes is ultimately to promote self-worth and dignity by allowing those in need to take what they cannot afford, or get access to, from a Dignity Box without having to ask or thank anyone. Consequently, we hope to promote in a small way, self-worth and dignity.

The purpose, as well as practical, is to make people feel a little better about themselves even for a short time.

I would like to thank you for all the amazing work you do to help us

Want to help?

You can help us make a difference to the lives of people in Scotland through donations. We also take unused toiletries, such as those that you get at Christmas.

As we are an ambitious and rapidly expanding charity, our operational costs are increasing all the time. All financial donations will go towards toiletries and our operating costs.

I really appreciate having access to toiletries. It helps me keep my dignity.
